My sister Rachel is still here from Texas and her 3 little boys are so cute! The oldest boy Boston, who is turning 10 this year is really into writing and he LOVES underdog. Well Boston has been writing Clay and I these secret notes from "anonymous" people. But every note was written in the same handwriting and on the same paper. We'd let him think he had us fooled for a couple of days but then tell him we figured out the mystery and knew it was him. After we kept getting anonymous letters I decided that Clay and I should do some of our own to Boston and his little brother Elliott. So last night we put together a scavenger hunt for the boys. When we returned home from the Riverton fireworks there was a letter/clue that we had put together and the clue was from a pirate. We even went out of our way to burn the edges of the paper and make it look all tattered and Clay and I took turns writing back and forth so they wouldn't recognize our hand writing. The boys were so excited but were kind of suspicious that we did it, but they changed their mind after giving us a hand writing test. The first clue we gave them said that their next clue would be there in the morning. Boston woke up early and was begging his mom to come downstairs and search for the clue, but said he had to wait for Elliott to wake up. A few hours later, the boys found the clue which told them the next clue would be here after church. They were so antsy at church it was so hard to keep a strait face. Clay left for a few minutes during church to go home and put the final clue up, which he stabbed in a tree with a plastic knife ha.They ran as fast as they could when they saw the final clue which lead them to a buried treasure in back yard. I took some pictures with their treasures and clues that they got. They still have no idea it was us, and Elliott is positive that is was a REAL PIRATE!!! Oh I cant wait for us to have our own kids so we can do fun stuff like this with them!

The second clue stabbed in the tree

The boys holding the treasure box, and the stuff that they got inside it while making pirate faces

The clues that we made, its kinda hard to see the detail but they turned out awesome!

You guys are amazing for putting that all together! I've never done something so fun for Jordan. You guys will be great parents someday!
Nice work keeping them busy for a little while. I never would have thought of a pirate treasure hunt.
Hi Jeannette, it's Shauna (Stacey's sister). My mom said that your sister in law works at Kohls at night. I am looking for a job at night and was wondering if you knew any information about that like what the hours are etc. Thanks!
